Westside Cowboy unveil laid-back final album preview “Dobro”

Manchester quartet Westside Cowboy have shared “Dobro”, the final single to be lifted from their eagerly awaited debut album It Goes On, arriving August 21 via Island Records.
Following the breakout success of “Kick Stones (The Boys)” and “Pin Up Boys”—alongside a star-making appearance on Later… With Jools Holland—the new track reveals another side of the fast-rising four-piece. Built around a loose, slacker-rock groove, “Dobro” places guitarist Jimmy Bradbury on lead vocal duties for the first time, with Aoife Anson O’Connell’s trademark harmonies adding warmth to its hazy, analogue charm. The result is a slow-burning, melody-rich track that feels effortlessly lived-in while retaining the band’s unmistakable emotional pull.
The release arrives as anticipation for It Goes On continues to build after a summer of acclaimed festival appearances at Tramlines, Latitude and Truck. With Green Man and Reading & Leeds still to come, plus an extensive UK and European headline tour—including sold-out dates at London’s O2 Forum Kentish Town and Manchester’s Albert Hall—Westside Cowboy’s remarkable rise shows no sign of slowing.
