Honest Work announce debut EP with ferocious new single “The Final Prose”

Rising Leeds outfit Honest Work have unveiled their powerful new single “The Final Prose”, offering another glimpse of forthcoming debut EP Another Broken Glass, due for release on 23 September. Out now, the track captures the band’s raw, live-wire intensity, pairing bruising riffs and pounding rhythms with soaring choruses and an undercurrent of emotional frustration.
Recorded live to a vintage 1970s tape machine at Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studios with producer Xavier Sinden (Punchlove, silt.), “The Final Prose” embraces the unfiltered energy that has quickly become central to the band’s reputation. Honest Work say the song explores the feeling of affirmation remaining just out of reach, with recording together in one take helping preserve its urgency and honesty.
The single follows last year’s debut “Horses for Meat”, also featured on the upcoming EP, which earned early support from tastemakers, and arrives ahead of a run of UK headline shows this autumn.
