Nina Winder-Lind builds momentum with instinctive new song “Headfirst”

Brighton-based Swedish songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Nina Winder-Lind, best known as a member of the boundary-pushing outfit The New Eves, continues to build anticipation for her debut solo album Wild Love with the striking new single, “Headfirst”. Following previous previews “This Is Our Life” and “Girls”, the latest offering finds Winder-Lind at her most instinctive, transforming intertwined guitar lines and driving live drums into a slow-burning anthem that blossoms into a euphoric full-band release.
Centred on her rich, smoky vocal, “Headfirst” balances raw intimacy with restless energy, capturing the emotional immediacy that has become a hallmark of her solo work. Written from the collision of a spoken-word piece and an offbeat guitar motif, the track feels spontaneous yet purposeful, embracing movement, vulnerability and catharsis in equal measure.
With Wild Love arriving on 14 August via Transgressive, alongside newly announced UK and European tour dates, Winder-Lind’s solo chapter continues to gather compelling momentum.
