ELLiS·D drops epic new single “Drifting” ahead of upcoming EP

Brighton’s goth-punk dynamo ELLiS·D is back with a bang, dropping the electrifying “Drifting,” the latest track from his upcoming sophomore EP Spill, due March 21st via Crafting Room Recordings.

“Drifting” is a seven-minute odyssey, a whirlwind of whiplash riffs, psychedelic breakdowns, and unexpected twists, capturing the raw, unpredictable energy of his exhilarating live shows.

Written and performed entirely by Ellis Dickson at Hackney Road Studios with producer Shuta Shinoda (Hot ChipJenny Beth), “Drifting” is the EP’s grand finale track, building, collapsing, and resurrecting itself with reckless abandon. Its meandering structure perfectly captures the raw energy of Ellis’s live performances.

With the upcoming EP Spill promising a rocket-fueled, blues- and goth-tinged glam-punk experience, “Drifting” sets the stage perfectly—melding paranoia, chaos, and cathartic release into a sonic rollercoaster.

Fresh off a packed year of headline tours and festival slots, ELLiS·D is gearing up for another explosive run across Europe this spring.

If “Drifting” is any indication, Spill is set to be a high-voltage thrill ride—a must-listen for fans of boundary-pushing punk energy. Get ready for the ride.
