“Fresh Linen” arrives as a new taster of the band’s debut EP “It’s A Pleasure Of Mine, to Know You’re Fine” for label Heist or Hit. The EP drops digitally on March 13th with the physical edition due to follow on April 24th, including a special Dinked Edition Vinyl.

Ladylike are Georgia Butler (vocals, guitar), Spencer Withey (vocals, guitar, synth), James Ely (drums), and Archie Sagers (six-string bass) and this single just like its predecessor “Rome (in progress)” is an intricate, textural and atmospheric song that while finely constructed also possesses urgency and guts. With a seven-minute runtime “Fresh Linen” is patient and poetic in blending gentle folk sounds with fierce post-rock abandon.

The track and entire EP was recorded with producer Ali Chant (Aldous Harding, Perfume Genius, PJ Harvey) and it’s a beautiful distillation of band who’ve already found their sound and combine seamlessly to explore that world fully and intuitively. There’s a palpable alchemy that sees them musically fill up spaces, soaring together as a group.
