Belfast’s post-punk/electronic maestros CHALK have shared a brand new track “Tongue” ahead of their forthcoming debut album “Crystalpunk”, which is due for release on March 13th via  New York headquartered label ALTER Music.

Just like previous releases both “Tongue” and the album are rooted in the experience of growing up in Northern Ireland, with all the confusion, complexity and beauty that notion of national identity encapsulates. Their visceral style of industrial dance and punk combined is woven into their DNA born in the shadows of conflict and the scars they’ve left.

As with the influx of many bands from Northern Ireland and wider areas beyond its borders there’s plenty to say for a new generation now living amidst the pain and intensity of the past. You can see the duo showcasing this best when they head out off a headline tour of European, UK and Ireland destinations in April, following an appearance at SXSW and Treefort festivals in the USA, see all dates below.

Be sure to pre-save/purchase their debut album now too!
