Phoebe Bridgers breaks silence with new single “Lost Boys”

Having teased everyone over the last couple of months with intimate live shows featuring new songs, Phoebe Bridgers has finally revealed “Lost Boys” as the captivating first taste of her eagerly awaited third studio album, Lost Weekend,
There’s that classic gentle delivery, dreamlike and wistful. Melodies that drift through shimmering guitars, ghostly harmonies and lyrics that linger. Put simply it proves once again why she remains one of indie music’s most compelling storytellers and how she’s always balanced delicate vulnerability with cinematic ambition.
Lost Boys explores themes of fractured friendships, growing older and searching for a place to belong. While the track embraces a richer, more expansive production than some of her earlier work, it never loses the emotional honesty that has earned her a devoted global following.
The release offers an exciting glimpse into Lost Weekend, an album already generating significant anticipation among fans eager to hear Bridgers’ next creative chapter. She’s aided in the endeavour by a huge cast of friends and collaborators, including her boygenius bandmates Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker, and co-producers Ethan Gruska, Tony Berg, Alex G, and Jack Antonoff who are all helping to push her artistry into fresh territory while remaining unmistakably her own.
It feels so good to have her back and we can only hope that with the album to come soon Bridgers is setting the stage for what could become one of the year’s most celebrated releases.
